It's pretty intense with a husky finish. But that is not why it's consumed. It's not a culinary delight to everyone's palate, yet still a health enhancing action.

I found that I could "appreciate" it, though. Once I got over the idea that it might have been a delight I learned to love it for its inner self.

I used to take a liquid magnesium daily that would turn my head around three times. After that, nothing tastes bad.

However, if it's too intense for you, dilute it in water and then chase it with clear water. Please, though, try not add anything to it to try to change it. It is what it is. And I think it's good for our taste buds to learn to handle a variety of foods - as they are.

After a week or two, I'm certain your taste may change toward this. Did for me. I tend to think my brain / body might just respond better if it can taste it for what it is. Maybe not but it's a nice thought to be that connected to food and it imparts benefits.

Brain scans show that the brain can "light up" with certain tastes. Suppose, that if in nature there are certain tastes that can offer health benefits but the brain needs to taste those for the very best effect. I tend to think that is possible.

yes, Keebler. I agree . things can need to be acquired, but this is just gross so I was wondering if it was rancid. I got it at a discount grocer.

I have taken OSHA plain and most people cannot do that. this is way worse than OSHA to me. maybe it's just my taste buds? it's not even the intensity of it.... it is tasting like urine of a dead camel mixed with used motor oil or something.

can I mix it with something? cutting with water ain't gonna help

Lisa,

you say you were " wondering if it was rancid."

What did you find out about that? Contact detail / date, etc. is surely on the bottle if you've not yet made some inquiries.

Also research the company that makes it for their quality control measures.

Still, it's certainly never going to be confused for a dessert drink.

I had to laugh just now! Remembering how I spit out the noni juice the first time I tried it! I was on orders to try it to get the lipomas down, and it worked, along with grapeseed extract capsules - no more lipoma tumors. That's saying a lot medically - beat surgery.

So I used to hold my nose as I gulped it down quickly, followed by immediate food. I think I finally got used to it a little.

dated 9/2016. but at a discount store one must always wonder how things are handled. as it could have been exposed to excessive heat or something.

it looks legit. here is site:
http://www.healingnoni.com/

I got the Hawaiian Noni. I think I will contact them and ask for ideas.

Does it have to be taken alone!!!!!!??????

I had my husbnad just sniff it and he almost vomited.

I wonder how someone ever foudn out that it had such healing properties. ?? like, did they have no taste buds? or no sense of smell???

Robin, gulp and eat. maybe I will try that.

I though I was a pro at taking terrible tasting things to help me, but I may have just met my match!!! [lick]
