First off, I am very new to learning about Lyme, even though I think I may have had it 36 years.

It wasn't until a couple months ago when new symptoms started, prompting my research.

Here is my question...

Has anyone tried isotonix or any liquid form vitamins and what if anything happened after taking them?

I'm much too cynical to waste my money on this, but someone offered me some insisting it would make me feel great and even cure my lyme.

Excuse me while I LMAO...but after this many years, I find it hard to believe any simple solutions offered.

Bumping this question for chrissy. Sorry I don't know the answer to your question, but maybe someone else knows about this?

I would be skeptical too. Maybe they are decent vitamins, but if someone is claiming it cures Lyme or *anything* else, that's a snakeoil marketing red flag.

I have been taking Isotonix for years. these are from MA.

every dr I have seen has told me they are the best I could be on- lyme drs, heart drs, all of them....

that being said....

I take the digestive enzymes made by them, also isotonic, and find they are worth it. they have also helped my friend with crohn's and my other friendt with her stomach issues totally. (sour stomach, belly ache, etc)

I also have taken MA Isotonix OPC. this is something I have seen great results in people close to me- my husband being one of them, but for myself they upset my stomach and I am trying to figure out what would help with that.

they make a nice aloe drink and I have tried that , but I cannot tollerat aloe, so I am trying a probiotic now so that I can take the OPC. OPC is mostly an antioxident I think. the dose you take is considered by your weight along with your illness/health issue, etc.

I heard people that do get 'cured' from things, even saw proof that cancer be put at bay with OPC, but the dose is high, like 6 caupfulls or something. I can get testimonies if you want. my best friend sells Isotonix. she is the one with crohn's . and she has been well for many years with only this and a good diet.

when my DH was on OPC I saw a drastic chagne in his energy, his attitude and all the dark spots on his face (liver spots) went away!

he wont' take it any more though because we are broke and he doesn't like to spend money on himself. [Frown]

all the spots came back and got bigger when he stopped using it.

I think they are pricey, but worth it. I feel s differenc when I run out.

I have taken OPC which has pycnogenol in it for years along with resveratrol and Vitamin D. While I don't feel well all the time I function at a high level and believe these are helpful. All three are pretty well known suppliments for TBD.

A chiropractor I used to see did really well with the Isotonix products - lost a lot of weight, and frankly, looked great, like 10 years younger after being on it awhile. Is that a good recommendation?!

Don't think it'll cure you, but might not hurt to try.

They have a product brochure there but it hasn't bothered to list the ingredients?

It's a multi level marketing company.

I thought that stuff was very expensive? Just what I heard??

A friend tried it and liked it. She was concerned that it wasn't a real "clean" product, however. Not sure how long she stayed on it.

I had that opinion, too, that it's not a clean product. I asked a friend to read me the list of ingredients while we were talking on the phone and there was a lot of ingredients in it that I did not like and didn't need to be there.

Finally found a link with the ingredients for OPC and now I remember that there are added sugars in the product. I personally don't use supplements that have sugars, fillers and binders. Also, the amount of milligrams in each serving are small. Not sure it's the best bank for my buck. I take many of these supplements separately in higher doses without the sugars and fillers.

Citric acid and maltodextrin alone would be enough for me to bow out.
