If you have recovered from lyme and are in remission can you pass the disease to your child when you get pregnant?

I suppose yes, but I'm not a specialist.
But whatever, there are ways to be pregnant and NOT pass it to your child, if you are on treatment.
I would read about it, talk to other people who got pregnant and treated themselves during pregnancy. I'm sure there are a few here.

I had a baby after lyme. I was under Dr. H's care and I was probably 80% better from lyme in general.
I took amoxicillin for the entire pregnancy. I can't remember how much now but it was quite a bit. My son was born healthy. Dr H. had the cord blood tested for lyme and it was negative.

Thank you, that was the answer I was looking for. I just read this morning about taking antibiotics while pregnant can help prevent it.

Dr. J, the top Lyme pediatrician, put together a protocol for pregnant women with Lyme which can be followed with one's own doctor. Many women have gone on to have healthy children.
