We're following an antibiotic protocol, but our LL doc has us continue all meds when sick unless there are digestive issues or if herxes are too intense. We had a flu scare, but stayed on meds.

I don't remember the components of the Synergy Protocol, but weren't some of them nutritive/supportive? MSM is the only one I'm remembering right now.

I'm wondering if continuing proper tx helps prevent additional infection from getting a foothold while the body is working through influenza?

If it's a stomach flu of sorts, you should go by how your gut feels. You need it to function properly to get better overall and don't want to be irritating it further.

Hope you feel better!

thanks for reply gz,

well its not a stomach flu but really affects ALL parts of my body and has simply knocked me on my ass, [there is a bad influenza all over the general area here, clinics full seeking help]

the Synergy protocol has cats claw, dragons blood, Usnea, cinnamon bark, Quina, Chanca Piedra, Barberry [all tinctures] plus Moringa powder, MSM, Alpha Lipoic acid, Lecithin
Omega 3 oils

its a hard call as to whether I should continue or not, so far today I have not touched my herbs/sups
