If 1 drop is even too much for me (regardless of which herb I'm using) then how could I dilute it even more? Simply use more water?

Or fill up water with dose and then pour half of that water into a new cup?

Yes, you could dilute it with much more water. You could also eat a little something at the same time.

You don't specify so I assume it's a typical alcohol based tincture.

You may be reacting to the alcohol itself as it hits your mouth tissue.

It could be a hit to blood glucose or a number of other impulses that zoom to the brain.

IMO, we should not take any tincture that is alcohol base if we can avoid it, more so though if taking larger amounts as it sure can add up and be hard on the liver.

Save that "space" for only those that are direct infection action if there is no other choice.

Is the tincture you are taking available with glycerine base instead of alcohol?

Or as dry form (in capsule, tablet or gelcap)?

Some are not (such as Cryptolepis) and some that may be do not work in dry form (Scullcap is one example). However, many are. You could also use dry form for the larger dose and then just a tiny bit of tincture to help it get going.

But there are also other herbs that can increase potentiality so that alcohol tincture feature (of getting into the blood stream faster) is not necessarily necessary.

Yes, it could be the alcohol you are reacting to. I know I wouldn't be able to do it.

It's CSA formula from woodland essence. Yes it has alcohol in it but I do believe it's just the herbs/bacteria that's causing the sensitivity.

Foods can cause similar sensitivity reactions for me

Put one drop in an 8oz glass of water and just drink one 1/4 or 1/3 and save the rest in the fridge.
