This didn't happen at first but it seems that now every time I take my dose of pure nystatin powder and Diflucan I herx my face off.
What's the best candida die off detox product?
I already take diatomaceous earth, red root, and use my FIR sauna every other day.

Chelated molybdenum is extremely helpful for my husband. It helps convert the acetaldehyde produced by the candida to acetic acid which the body is then able to remove.

I saw the Swanson sale might get some. Does molybdenum have to be treated like a regular binder or does it only effect candida.
I'm on a no sugar no white carb diet if that counts.
Thank you for the info!

At the lower dose, we took it 3x a day, then down to 2 once things were under control. The Swanson's just twice a day. Hubs has been hitting yeast again, and can do okay with once a day now.
Dosing for effect can be pretty individual. It usually takes about 3 days for hubs to get relief from it if he's having lots of die off and hasn't been taking it.
Molybdenum doesn't act like a binder as much as it assists with the breakdown and transformation of certain cellular metabolic byproducts and amino acids. We always take it on an empty stomach.

I did a step-down way back when - from sugar to sweet fruit to no sweet fruit. I got over sugar cravings in 10 days.
So my question is, say we successfully get on a nonyeast diet for a long time. Would that be enough to starve them out or would we still have to take somehing for it?

I beleive it depends on the amount of candida you have and immune system Robin. From what I've read it says a diet will keep it at bay but one slip up will make it grow thats why we need sometbing to scrub the intestinal walls and get rid of the roots

I think that you also have to work to establish a good balance of bacteria in your intestines. Our intestines have more bacteria/yeast and other single cell organisms than our body has cells!
The key is to get to a good point of homeostasis in the gut of these organisms. If you get rid of the candida, you have to have something in its place.
I didn't have candida, but I had overgrowth of bad bacteria. I used fermented foods to rebuild healthy bacteria. I think you can't be in the initial stages of the candida diet and add ferments, but it might be something to do down the line.
At this point, years into it for me, once slip up has no effect, but it took years of working on the gut with anti-parasiticals, antibiotic herbs, colon cleanses, and ferments.
