A few months back I started experiencing burping pretty constantly even when I drink water.

My PCP put me on a detox protocol. He is holistic so I thought this would help.

The detox protocol he put me on which his office manufactures has now caused cramping in my stomach.

The burping hasn't resolved.

I'm following the diet which consists of a paleo diet. My stomach is cramping constantly. I can't get rid of it and it's been over 24 hours.

Does anyone know what would cause either of these symptoms?

Tick alert, I will PM you soon but just wanted to say that I had sudden chronic burping show up when I first got sick with lyme. I'm assuming you currently have lyme?

Burping can be caused by many things.. medications included.

Gallbladder problems can also cause it.

I would stop the detox stuff before things get even worse.

Analyze your diet and your meds. Also consider yeast.

True. Burping can also be caused by the infections. And it's not always yeast either especially if you have no other symptoms of yeast.

The burping coincided with dental bone grafting that went very bad.

I ended up with 4 dental surgeries total for bone grafting and was antibiotics for two months.

Currently I'm lyme free. Monday I'm seeing my LLMD who does ART and could hopefully give me a better indication as to what's happening.

I'm hopeful it's yeast since I was on antibiotics for so long and not my gallbladder.

I do have stomach pain and a little bit of nausea.
