Hi all,

I think my liver hurts. Lots of pressure in right lower rib cage. Started yesterday.

Should I be concerned? Currently on malarone, zithromax, Cefzil, bactrim, and Claritin. Supplements: vit c, methlfolate, probiotics.

I have some milk thistle. Maybe I should actually take it...

Maybe I should just wait and see if it goes away??? At what point do you get concerned?

Sam

You "have some milk thistle. Maybe I should actually take it..."

Yes. I cannot imagine how any liver could manage the Rx without it first in the body. And so many of the Rx you listed (including the Claritin) are ototoxic in nature so the liver support is about the only kind of possible protection for your ears as well.

Be sure to protect your ears from even moderate sound.

Is there a reason you've help back on that? There are other options but it's not an option to opt out of liver support, so hope something here will work for you:

LIVER & KIDNEY SUPPORT & and several HERXHEIMER support links, too.

I just got the Burrascano supplements in a few days ago (one of those being milk thistle) and I just haven't started it yet.

I drink a lot of water, but I'll drink more. Any techniques for the belly massage?

Lol sorry for the strange question. Just read what I wrote and asking for a belly massage technique sounds kinda weird :/

You say that you " . . .drink a lot of water, but I'll drink more."

Actually, don't, necessarily. Too much can be just as dangerous as too little.

Not sure how much liquid you consume but ask your doctor what the best range is for your body. About 3 qts. a day seems about the top amount.

Why would asking for a belly massage sound any weirder than asking for a back massage? Dogs get belly rubs all the time. Time for people to start rolling over and shaking our limbs with a doe-eyed look and begging whine until we get some action, eh (hee-hee, har-har).

I was thinking of a self-massage, though, someone else could, too. Just be sure not to dig into arteries, etc. Keep it gentle. You could study up on it or see a LMT (licensed massage therapist).

VISCERAL MASSAGE is best with someone trained in UPLEDGER INSTITUTE style. Go to their website to find someone near you. Sometimes, a PT trained in this style may be on your insurance. But the cranial sacral therapy is more common.

Very good. A colon massage would help the liver, too. Just learn from someone who is certified so they know anatomy. Two good instructors here:

Colon massage with a PT - 1 min. video

Then watch:

Thanks, Keebler. I appreciate the input. I think I'm finally getting a lot of this lyme stuff down, but I'm still overwhelmed by the liver and kidney support stuff. Trying to figure out a simple place to start. Thinking that might just be taking the milk thistle and eating citrus fruit, along with a gentle massage? I'll start there and add I guess.

Citrus fruit can really wreck the gut, especially when taking antibiotics that are hard on gut lining, too. Be sure not to eat it alone, maybe near the end of meal. Or switch.

Basics, a simple place to start with liver / kidney support?

Start with milk thistle can be a bit strong, be sure to take with food or switch to dandelion. Small meals. Real food. Fresh oils, not old. Avoid acetaminophen and ibuprofen.

Be sure everything inside your whole belly gets to move often. When you move about home, just be mindful of giving all that freedom so nothing gets too constricted. Posture is really important at all times, too. When you rest, rub your belly, etc. Use rest time to gently stretch and roll about a bit, easing any constrictions of the body, everywhere. Like cats.

Good luck.

If the pain is on the upper right belly / just below the rib cage, and citrus makes it worse, you might want to consider if a Duodenal Ulcer could be in the picture here, too. Pain can also radiate.

Are you keeping your torso upright for at least a half hour after taking Rx? That's always a good idea.

my liver pain comes and goes and has done so for years before I found out I had tick disease.

now I don't feel it so often or as intense. I never did much for it, but my overall tx plan helped.

once I figured it was from the tick diseases I waited to see how tx would help and it did. at least so far.

ps, they never 'found' anything wrong with my liver

Liver pains, i had that for at least a decade. It started clearly with lyme, and when I herxed, got worse.

Lyme doc says that most lyme sufferers have gluten intollerance or allergy. If you go on eating that, your gall bladder get stuck and it also gets painful.

If you stay long enough in lymenet, you will see that MANY people will lose their gall bladders here. Many!!

I never stopped milk thistle during lyme. After lyme, the doc prescribed us a combination of bitter herbs plus a gluten free diet. It also helped, but I felt we were doomed to take these herbs forever and on top, to be on this very strict gluten free diet. Both daughter and myself.

What so far, solved our liver AND gall bladder problem was the TEsla Violet Ray high frequency device. It is a mere 30 dollar spending but what it did, my lyme doc doesn't KNOW it can do!

It solved our gluten problem (my daughter can eat spelt now, after 2 months on the device), she stopped her bitter herbs, she feels her digestion works very well, she doesn't feel tired after eating.

For myself, it cleaned my liver so well that now, coffee makes me SLEEPY instead of excited. Dr. K. always says that a clogged liver will cause you anxiety after coffee (because the liver cannot clean the chemicals that excite in coffee), but that a clean liver can deal with coffee easily.

It has no more pain (after 10 years of pain OR liver pressure, that is a blessing). I do HEAR my liver flushing when I use the device.

On top, it kills candida. So what else can I ask? 30 dollars!!! I'm running a thread on that. We stopped all liver and gall bladder supplements, and even stopped our gluten-free diet!!!

We're still not brave to eat wheat in great amounts, but we are eating other foods with gluten (like spelt, rye or similar).

Thank you all so much for your input! Just now replying because I've been doing so unwell lately. [Frown]

Had bloodwork Wednesday and an ultrasound today. We'll see...

Brussels, I'll try just about anything that only costs $30! That sounds pretty amazing.

It is an amazing re-discovery! A 100 year old device costing 25 bucks, how can it do all it is doing....

My 73 year old aunty called me to say that her lower back pain (that was so bad she couldn't sleep) is 80% better after 1 month on this wand!

She said, it solved her constipation problem since she started doing on the liver.

If you buy it, just go slow, very slow, about 30 seconds a day. It can cause very bad herxes, really.

You can ask questions any time Keebler!

The device does so many things at the same time, that is why it is even better to sort out some topics (like liver, in this case)...

My gall bladder was a bit painful today when I woke up. I'm sure it is loaded with toxins (probably heavy metals).

I took chlorella, pain is totally gone in less than 30 minutes! That is the proof for me, that these pains come from toxins.

But I will do some Tesla treatment there, for a minute or two now.

These high frequencies from the Tesla wand clean the body and cells. I believe it goes REALLY intracellular, inside cells, and then push garbage out (because it opens the cell walls, if I understand it well).

Well, electric currents do go everywhere, for sure, if there are electrolytes!

For some reason, minerals that never wanted to go inside our cells (like zinc) are going inside and staying, after using the wand.

We've had so much trouble with zinc, for ages!! And supplementation orally DIDN'T work, even after 18 months!!!!

I was thinking about dr. K's words. He said that the cell takes in heavy metals like mercury just by magnetic attraction. Not because the cell wants heavy metals!

The problem is that these heavy metals stay inside cells, but have no biological function. The cause harm to cells or kill them. Cells do not know how to put them out, as we didn't evolute together with such high amounts of heavy metals. It is a civilization problem.

And minerals, which cells DO need to function properly, cannot come in, as the place is used by heavy metals! The cell is full.

So it makes sense that when heavy metals come out, there is empty place. And now, zinc is staying with us, without needing supplementation!

The Tesla device gives cells electrons (I believe), and somehow push these heavy metals out. Then the cells are cleaned.

Then you feel toxic, as all the garbage goes out in the lymph and blood, even if you are not herxing!

It is amazing how many of these free toxins run through the gall bladder and then, the liver.

I always got trouble there, specially during lyme and herxes. There and on my kidneys, I had physical pain there!

Most people have no pain though. But they get elevated liver enzymes and so many (SO MANY!!) lose their gall bladders!

If you read lymenet long enough, you will see that topic coming up all the time: elevated liver enzymes, having to stop treatment, then total inflammation of gall bladder, stones, and finally surgery. Lyme treatment, herxes = liver + gall bladder problem, sooner or later.

Any support you do on detox organs is a blessing (liver flushes, homeopathics, massage, herbs, chlorella, now this Tesla wand!!).

And the support has to be non-stop, constant until lyme gets dormant.

No detox support = little or no improvement. That has been my experience.

If you just support detox, and do NO OTHER treatment, you can see your body slowly improving on its own.

I know that by experience: support fully your liver + gall bladder, lymph, GI tract and kidneys, and you feel better almost immediately.

Then your immune system seems to start working, your digestion improve, your energy improve, you start to feel like a normal human being!

That is why supporting the liver is so important!
