I'm looking for help for someone who has autoimmune type symptoms (like Lupus), has adult failure to thrive, is allergic to almost all foods, has extreme fatigue, and a chronic rash that flares up severely at times.
He also suffers from insomnia. Doctors have been unable to find the problem. I'm wondering if others are experiencing these issues from Lyme or co-infections.
This person was treated for Lyme by Dr. C a few years ago. Any insight is welcomed. Thank you.
I am not a doctor, but I think it is possible the person may still have Lyme and need more treatment based on the symptoms you wrote. Is he/she in IN? I have the name of a good LLMD there.
Please break up your post into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme.

Perhaps Mast Cell Activation Syndrome is contributing to allergic reactions.
If you search this site for MCAS you will find more information.
Lymetoo, a member on this site, might steer you to MCAS resources.
