Hi all,

Could you please share gastro issues you associate with Bart?

Episodes of severe abdominal pain.

That's what it gave me. I once went to the ER and they did a full body scan and found nothing.

No test showed anything. I had sonograms of the uterus, colonoscopy, etc.

The time I went to the ER, I could hardly walk. And, I waited until the pain had gone on for 7 days. The nurse felt sure I was going to have appendicitis show up. But, instead, nothing at all showed up.

That is bart for you. Once I treated it, I never had these episodes again.

That's interesting, TF. My off and on intense gut pain has been quiet for a little bit, as has been my bart symptoms. Hopefully that will be something else that stays gone after treatment.

I think bart has been responsible for my many years of GERD. I was dx'ed in the beginning with athsma due to the coughing, but that was from aspirating stomach acid while I slept. Had other typical gerd symptoms like heartburn, indigestion, etc.

My gerd symptoms haven't been terribly noticeable since I began antibiotics. It flared a lot in the beginning with other bart sx.

Canefan, ever since I got sick I've been belching like crazy too. I never had this issue until I got sick and I know that it's not yeast or anything else.

It started with the onset of all my other symptoms and I was tested for everything under the sun. Finally the only thing I got a positive for is lyme.

My llmd says I have Bart. I've been on Bart meds for 3 weeks but no improvement. Is that too soon?
