Thanks for the link, Judie, it is interesting, I bookmarked this.

And thanks for the bump up, Keebler, I've been reading and researching trying to find out what is causing me allergic/and food poisoning like symptoms, to foods and various products. Some of which I've never had issues with until recently.

I appreciate the info'!!

"Medications that trigger MRGPRX2 include cancer drugs cetrorelix, leuprolide and octreotide; HIV drug sermorelin; fluoroquinolone antibiotics; and neuromuscular blocking drugs used to paralyze muscles during surgeries.

Dong's research group is also looking into the possibility that MRGPRX2 could be behind immune conditions such as rosacea and psoriasis that don't stem from medication use."

I know I've had a severe reaction to a drug used in anesthesia during sinus surgery several years ago. I have it written down somewhere. The Dr said it was a short-acting anesthesia drug.

I could barely move the next day because I was in so much pain in my muscles. It was excruciating. My husband had to help me out of bed with me screaming out in pain.

Then all day when I had to get up, it was just as bad.

I also have had severe reactions to fluoroquinolones.

Thanks so much for the information. Note what it said about mast cells... another issue for me.
