Do you have to stop abxs before getting test done for antibodies to viruses and bacteria?

I was going to ask the same question, canefan17, but you beat me to it!
My son will be seeing his LLMD this coming week, and will be getting tested again for Borrelia, Babesia, & Bartonella (Western Blot, I think). He will also have regular blood work done. My concern is that the meds will affect the results.
I plan to contact his LLMD a.s.a.p. with this concern. I did ask about it before and was told to have my soon keep taking his regular meds and supplements.

I read an interview with Steven Harris a while ago in which he said to take three full weeks off abx prior to your blood draw in order to generate some antibodies.

I (unaware that I shouldn't have) plowed right through my testing on a bunch of orals. Still came back positive w/ a bunch of co's through IGENEX

I was taking antibiotics (doxycycline) and my western blot came back CDC positive.
It's when I did the "take antibiotics then stop before testing" was when it wasn't CDC positive on another test.
