Anyone suffer from this? I tested positive for a herpes virus and all of this hit me 3 weeks ago and hasn't gotten better.

Apparently the virus can get in your nerves and irritates them to no end.

I went to dermatologist and he thought same thing. But I tested positive for herpes 1 (but with genital symptoms).

I guess it's possible that shingles has come out to play too.

Either way after posting this he did prescribe me 10 days of anti-virals.

If the super sensitive skin started on your big toe, it could be gout. The best treatment I've found is Black Cherry Juice (100.percent pure). Available at Giant and Harris Teeter.

When I tried the cherry juice, it did lead to unwelcome flatulence and frequent bathroom visits, so build up slowly if you try it!

Thanks for advice. I guess that's why he asked me about my kidney function (relationship with gout).

I do not believe it's gout.
