I think you need something. Your typing isn't as good as it normally is, I can tell from that that you feel really bad.

You don't have to check into the hospital and be away from your remedies to get abx. Or maybe try colloidal silver???

Mine has been clearing after a week I used lots of Tumeric and Vicks. Vicks on Chest and Vicks on Feet.

I let the fever run its course.

also coconut oil and probiotics.

Ive been thinking about vicks. There used to be a scare about it being really bad.

I was in er for five hours. I becan having coughing fits where i couldnt stop very scarey. My friend insisted on going with me.

I had a breathing tx, chest xray,iv steroid and something else

And blood work they said chest xray clear. Short of breath, wheezing, coughing spams were obvious

They said it is viral and takes 3 weeks to get over. They gave me narcotic cough syrup and ativan but i wont take that now that i know what it is. They said it was muscle relaxant. It isnt i h as ve skelaxin and vistaril to use for those sx without the side effects

So i thought they were saying its not bacterial...abx(doxy) wont work. Just take cough syrup and force fluids etc

I did specifucally ask two docs if i could take my gabapentin with what they wete giving me cuz i had the icepick in the ear thing the whole time i was in er

But when i started reading the ten pages of discharge papers i got really confused

Oh...they dx me with bronchitis

They said finish abx...they didnt give them to me the urgent care doc did and theres eight days left....but they kept saying it wasnt bacterial

The only thing they said not to take was tessalon pearles as nd cough syrup together

I guess im supposed to continue using inhaler(steroid), musinex and sudafed as needed,

I want to continue with homeopathies

Again they told me take tylanol and ibuprofen for pain and fever as nd i remember warnings never to take them.together cuz hurts kidney i think

I took the neurintin and got rid of ice pickbpain. Half hour later took cou gh syrup but it didnt work. Took two puffs of inhaler. Didnt really work.

I as m coughibg, wheezing louder th as n while time , still have fever but i thought in sime ways thats good...have not takn anything to lower it

I did fall asleep for an hour. First time slept i awhile. Felt good. Ate snack with dixy as nd here i am.

Im confused but i do have what i think the plan is written diwn. And i double checked with phsmasist on meds she didnt know i take. All ok except pearls
T
But i am confused. Why doxy if viral?

Well,,,i sure am glad to get ice pickout of head. Hope other stuff falls into place. I have antiviral supps but dont think i will add anything to this mix until i am done with some of the new beds

I th hink i can sleep again. But i am.confused. pribaby the cough ssyrup with codeine

Bronchitis can be a secondary bacterial infection when there's a primary viral infection. That's probably why you need the doxy, part of it has probably become bacterial with all the congestion.

Oh man. I just answerd and lost it. Narcotic cough syrup helped me skeep so i am thinking a little bettee but itmakes my poiner finger jerk uncontrolably and i am using it to type

I am cofused about contradictins in written instructions and verbal instructiins. My friend remembers the same as me. I checked with phamacist and im not doing one that is bad combo

I am continuing doxy even tho er said i didnt need abx

I am contiuing inhaler prescribed by different doc cuz it wasnt mentioned by er and pharmasist said it was ok

So...still wheezing way more, coughing less. Thinking better i think cuz i slept

I know. But it was print out that said. IF you were prescribed abx take them. Er didnt prescribe them. Urgent care did

There were a lot of other irrelevant things on print outs

I am taking them. Gut feeling. Also wondering about fungal. They didnt say a word. I didnt ask. I tild them my brinchitis trigger is mold.

The vacay house smelled moldy sometimes. Depending on weather and wind. It had damage durung hurricane sandy. It had tins of windiws. I had diffuser and aurcleaner in my room

I had wiffs of mild smell but was always able to get away frim it

I have old diflucan but i am suppised to go to. Primary if not better in one week. Doxy will be almost gone then. I will ask primary for diflucan if i am.notbetter

This morning wgen i took doxy i did not have herx reaction like first day i took it

I had a respiratory bug this past winter. Initially I thought it was asthma because I was wheezing a lot but it turned out to be probably a cold. If you can get out into the sun, that could be very helpful. I took zinc coughdrops and an elderberry syrup that I made myself. Wish I'd figured out earlier that it was a cold rather than just asthma but it did go away slowly in about a month.

Can be scarey.

Sounds like a bacterial infection, kayak. I wouldn't worry about fungal at this point because you know this was a bug that you and others around you caught.

Hang in there.

But there was mild mold exposure at the same time i was exposed to bug

They got better on abx

Im on second abx and third sx combo and clearly getting worse

I had more energy one day after good sleep...but now i am weak and fatugued again. Fever going up, wheezing way worse, new pains...some from coughing, ice. Pick pain baxk

I called primarycuz er said to do that if i got worse. They said they would try to fit me in to give me allergy medicine for mold

They are so stupid. I asked for referral to pulmona

ry specialist. They agreed but i think it will be a month

So if i get. Much worse ihave to go back to express care where the doc seemed to have good respiratoy training and it costs 25.

Ot i go to er where they are pushing ativan, steroids, and not concerned that my trigger is mold

They also said xray was clear but today i did start brining up
More yellow mucous than i have so far

And every time igo to er its 50. And that wouldnt bother me except none of the tx s are helping

I am back to weak and exhausted, new cheat and back pain from cough, fever going up again, wheezing way worse...coughingfits stopped for obe day but are back, even bone paine where i fractured pelvis is back. Ice pick in ear is back

So...im continuing to do all they said. But not much i,provement and a lot worse

I took a long hot shower and it stopped cough for an hour but i was too weak to get dressed for an hour after shower

I know what a good pylmonary specialist is like and the clisest was the express care guy

Im not surr what to do...but instructions were to go back to er if i got worse and i am worse

I couldnt find online what tx is for fungal bronchtis...and my pulmonary never had to give it to me...he was always able to get it undercontrol with meds. There were ten meds...but no antifungals

I am1/4 mile from firehouse where ambulance is. I dont know what else to do except keep following directions and when it is really bad call ambulance
