My 13 year old boy is having memory loss. Do you think it is a lack of detox that is causing this? Cipro says it can cause memory loss.

Is this a detox or medicine issue?????

Thanks for opinions/help

Lyme has taken away my memory, especially short term memory.

Lyme disease. Memory loss is a big time symptom of Lyme. If it's Cipro, it'll be a temporary thing for the duration of the drug. But it is very likely Lyme.

I have a lot of memory issues that come and go. I finished my tick disease treatments and the memory problems were still there. I started a 30 day cleanse and it seemed to help, so maybe if he detoxes it will help?

also, I found out that I have heavy metal issue, but also just found out that I have genetic mutation that holds onto the things like heavy metals in my body.... so now I am getting my genetics in order so that , according to the genetic expert, fix my body so that things like heavy metals and lyme disease all exit me.

I donl;t know anything about cipro, but if that can cause memory loss is there any way to know for sure if that's causing it?

I hope you find answers. I have sick kids too, so I know how it is.
