When you ask if we're more susceptible, I'd say yes because of the magnesium issue - our muscles are tighter because they don't have enough of it.
I'm always doing gentle stretching to get more oxygen in, waste products, and have even rehabbed tight muscles that way to get them more stretched out in general.
I've tried Natural Calm and magnesium glycinate so far. The Natural Calm powder caused my muscles to go limp!!
You will need to wait till you get through this period of strain before you can do any stretching, I think.

you know what? he recommended i do taichi. I have no idea what that is other than some chinese stretching I think.
