I have been very worried about my heart as of late. I was at an urgent care not too long ago and they sent me to the ER because my heart rate on an EKG was 104 (I am 27 years old) they said it should be lower, and my blood pressure was a little high, but then they re took it after the appointment and it went back down to normal.
Anyway, I get to the ER and im waiting there for a while, I finally get called in and they do an X-RAY, Take my troponin levels, and another EKG, all of these tests came back normal so they sent me on my way.
They said i could make an appointment to follow up with a cardiologist and I did, I saw him, didn't seem like he was educated about lyme at all and blamed my anxiety and weight for the problem, but he ordered the tests anyway for me to ease my mind and to see if something is really wrong, so i respect that.
I take a Stess Test and and Echocardiogram tommorow both in one day so I will know the results of those next week because i have on last appointment with him to follow up and get my test results next week.
I have been having somewhat like dizziness but its not exactly dizziness, heart palipatations(Arrythmia i guess?) chest tightness or somewhat like stiffness almost like there's a block in there or something that is preventing my heart from working properly, some arm discomfort from time to time, and i just all around feel weird like im slipping away slowly or something, its so hard to describe.
I am not seeing an LLMD at the moment and I am not on treatment yet, nor have i ever been diagnosed with Lyme by blood test. One understanding nutritionalist who has lyme herself in my area said she thinks i have it, but my family does not believe in it much so its hard to get them to understand and help me get help from a Lyme doctor.
I am 27 and unable to be as i used to, working, being in shape, Having much energy to do the things i used to, feeling like im going to pass out a lot, and my family is all very understanding of this and the issues that i have, they just dont believe in alternative Lyme options aside from what the CDC tests and treatments go by sadly.
I don't want to drop young because of this but i am really worried about my heart, most of my tests do come back normal and thats not even re assuring to me. Tomorrow with an echo and stress test i am just hoping i dont have issues with that either.
I feel like such a burden sometimes and its a damn shame that no one around the area understands tick related issues. they think i am just a hypochondriac most of the time and it is really taking a toll on me in many ways to have to explain and look like an idiot all the time.
I could really just use some support, but the advice i am asking for is could there be something going on with my heart? I am trying to think positive but this is all just getting to me lately, i dont want them to miss something and then something happens, you know?
I will try to get to an LLMD soon as well once my financial issues are sorted out, dont worry, i am just worried about my heart mainly for now, the heart issues have been going on for about 2 months now, and I was bitten last May 2014
Any advice/support would be appreciated, thanks.

I'm in work right now and can't spend much time on this.
I just wanted to tell you, your symptoms are very, very common with these diseases.
One of my main problems is the heart issues, going on 8/9 years. It’s gotten better the past two years, but still struggle with everything you just wrote.
Example – I was doing really good the past three to four months, no pain. Then all of sudden two weeks ago, bam, it started all over again.
Do some research on the net – just type in (Lyme and heart) – you’ll get 1,000’s of hits. Read through some of them, it’s a good start.
Don’t stress over this it just makes EVERYTHING worst.
I had all those test done many times – always normal.
I’m glad you scheduled the testing tomorrow, it will make you feel better when the results come in.

Agree with Steve.
We all get very worried with heart symptoms.
Lyme causes that to most people.
Of course, better to see professional help, but if it is lyme and infections, little can they do.
You need then a LLMD.
No excess worry please. It could be just lyme and we all suffered those symptoms. I do hope you find some professional help to reassure you. With treatment, most people improve a lot!

Some symptoms will run in cycles - couple good weeks/months, and then you can have a couple of bad weeks, etc...
Everyone reacts a little different.
I only went to the ER once for my heart, they did all the reg. testing.
The doctor kept me there for a few hours, and decided to give me a room for the night.
I'm not sure what he wrote on my chart, but he must have been protecting himself.
They ran tests all night, every couple of hours.
Here's the kicker - I had three doctors check on me before they would release me in the AM.
Two said there's nothing wrong with you, I said great.
The third Doctor came in and asked, how do you feel, I said a little better but sill have some pain. (Keep in mind, they all know I have Lyme disease).
Doc's response> Why are you here?
Me> I'm sure you know the ER doctor told me I needed to spend the night, it wasn't my decision.
Doc> YOU know there is nothing wrong with you. >Those are the exact words he used<...
Me> I do, do you think I would choose to spent a night in the hospital? There's more germs here than I need to know about!
Doc> Your wasting our time and taking up space in our hospital.
Me> I can't tell you what I said on this site. But can tell you I throw him out of the room and told him to go fxxx yourself, and do some research on Lyme disease.
I'M only telling you this because you're going to go throw a lot of this, till you learn more how these diseases work.
Not everyone has heart issues, I know how you're feeling, not fun stuff.
Hang in - get your testing done and try not to worry to much.
