I've been instructed by my LLD to follow an Adkins type diet. I know there are books out there that are diet related w/Lyme. But personally can some of you give me your favorite meals or snacks that you take or took while on treatment. For one I have to take Rifampin 2 hours before my doxy. It hard to wake up at 5:30am to find something to eat with my Rifampin before my doxy at 7:30 with breakfast. Any favorite meals? Snacks? Do any of you drink decaf coffee or regular once in a while???

Oh man. I can NEVER take abx on an empty stomach. NOPE.

I'm of no help because I don't have any snack ideas over here due to a limited diet.

I usually eat rice cakes if I have to take meds away from a real meal.

goose,

I think you meant to write ABX protocol, rather than BX procotol.

You are on an antibiotic (abx) protocol. There is something call a "BX protocol" that looks entirely like a scam - IMO. It an injectable agent to create oxidation inside mitochondria & costs $17,000. so I'm sure that's not what you are talking about.

Just putting this here in case others find this thread in a search for the BX protocol as that question has just popped back up.

I don't suggest wasting any time on this yet still should leave a little detail:
