I'm treating myself with herbs after having gone the antibiotic route years ago. My stiff knees have gotten a little better after starting a supplement called Cartilege Support. Just was wondering if anybody found anything that's really great.

Turmeric can help - it's anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial. I get it in bulk at the health food store and dip 00 size empty capsules into it. I take one capsule in the am and pm. I actually feel it working to reduce pain within minutes. I don't think you can OD on the stuff.
Also, lymph drainage massage can take knee pain down for a couple weeks.

Thanks. I've been taking one NOW Curcumin every morning and it has taken the swelling down. Do you think if I take two a day, it will make them less painful or do I need to buy the Turmeric?

I don't mind buying the Turmeric. Was just wondering if they're the same thing.

Curcumin is an active ingredient within turmeric which lowers inflammation.
After watching some online diet webinars recently that recommended going with the whole plant because who knows what else is working synergistically, I stay with the turmeric, which has got everything in it from the plant.
