Has anyone who has had root canaled teeth recovered from lyme?
I went to a holistic dentist last week who wants to remove several root canaled teeth.
I've spoken to a few people that I know who removed there root canaled teeth and haven't recovered.
Trying to make the correct decision.

I recovered from lyme only after I added photon therapy. I mean, I could stay in remission only after I added photon therapy.
Only removing teeth didn't solve lyme.
But leaving the teeth wouldn't have been a good solution, as they were FULLY infected. I could only see the extent of the problem when the dentist pulled it off.
Nastily infected, really. He used a spoon to clean what was supposed to be my jawbone!!
I don't think my body was THE LEAST able to fight such infections, deep rooted in my bones.
I guess, the question should be: can someone WITH infected dead teeth heal from lyme and REMAIN in remission for longer than a couple of years?

I recovered from lyme, babesiosis, and bartonella without having my root canaled teeth removed or my amalgam fillings.
After a few months of treatment with the doc who got me well, I asked him if I would have to have my amalgams out.
He said, "Obviously, in your case, no."
So, I was progressing quite well under his treatment and that determined his answer to me.
He had never asked me anything about my teeth. Perhaps he would have asked about my teeth if I was not getting well.
So, maybe it is an individual thing like so much else with this disease.
I completed my treatment over 10 years ago now and I have never relapsed.
I was bitten again 7 years ago and went right back to the lyme doc and got treatment for 30 days for my bulls eye rash. I never got any other symptoms except a mild herx at the start of the 30 day treatment.
So, I have had lyme twice and gotten rid of it without getting dental work done. A month ago I had to have one of the root canaled teeth extracted because the tooth cracked. All is well in there.
So, I don't believe I have any infection in my jaw around my root canaled teeth.
