I am on treatment again after being better for 5 ys. (((((( However I have had these incidents with blood vessels bursting suddenly for no cause in my fingers etc. It especially happened when I was on minocycline. I had to stop that and I started flagyl. Then had a bad infection in my leg with my veins and had Cipro IV for 5 days and 10 days oral. Now back on flagyl. I go to Dr. C on the 15th again. I have such rage issues sometimes that I have to really watch for them. Does anyone else have them sometimes. Dpression this time is bad again as I keep thinking I am never going to feel better again! I feel ooooooooollllllllllld and yucky!

- May be of help with mood, too (as it is so supportive of microcirculation).
Be sure you get enough good protein and good fats and lots of food from the earth in veggies and dark low sugar berries (a few after a good meal). Food matters so much for mood stability. Be careful not to let blood sugar drop.

- The Cipro you took may have been the only choice (?) . . . so just be sure to read all this as to what follow-up precautions are needed even for weeks / months afterward so as to keep your tendons safe during this critical time. Good luck.

- A lot of this is not new, most likely, yet - with rage & depression - the liver is often greatly stressed & overworked. Be sure support is broad and steady. Nothing too harsh, but clearly solid.
IMO, a liver that is just overloaded can cause rage & depression and all kinds of mood issues (as well as fatigue). It's a process to give it support so no quick fixes, however, NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) may be a nice help right now.
Don't forget that flagyl is well-known for causing abject depression.

YESSSS.
The vessels burst in my fingers all the time. If I squeeze something too hard, it stings, and then I can see it swell and pool.
Mostly in the space under the knuckles.
For me this is damage to the endothelial cells caused by bart.
L-Arginine helps this, I think, and also now I am trying serrapeptase.
Buhner's book on bartonella has good suggestions for supplements to take to help support the vessel cells.

hm, is this why my knnuckles hurt so bad when I lightly tap on anything???? it feels like they were smashed under a rock from the slightest of bumping into something. just on my right hand on 2 knuckles.
