It has to do with microbes, how to kill them, how to avoid cancer and a defective immune system.
This type of therapy suggested against cancer may well function against lyme and chronic infections.

Well, anyone who says mycotoxins are produced by microbes and parasites is misinformed. Mycotoxins come from fungi. This makes me doubt the rest of the article.

Doubt everything you read, that's the best strategy.
However, we know that parasites and fungi are part of a ONE SET.
Kill parasites, and you may get rid of fungi (just because they sort of act in symbiosis and because fungi live inside and on the skin of parasites).
That's what dr. K. has been saying for years (or decades?).
So it doesn't look weird to me that mycotoxins can be found when you kill parasites, just because fungi and candida live INSIDE parasites and when they die, their mess is tossed in the body.
If people look closer to what is making us sick and discover that for some, it is parasites, for others, it is candida, for others, it is chronic infections (herpes, MS, lyme), for others it is cancer, for others it is allergy...
... well, what I like in the article is that it offers an alternative way of seeing all these 'DIFFERENT' problems as coming from a single main problem: a failing immune system.
While many here treat infections with abx and anti infectious remedies, or cancer with killers of cells, allergies with avoiding allergens or other desensitization treatments, etc etc,...
... people like dr. K. treats all patients THE SAME WAY. It doesn't matter if they get infections or cancer, for example, or ADHD, or autism. He said that about a decade ago, and I don't think he changed his approach.
What if most of chronic diseases that involve immune problems didn't come from the same source?
That's what's interesting in the article!
It is not an article destined to be read by scholars, but for the general public. It made me damn think, and that is why I wanted to share it.
I am one more step ahead most people suffering with chronic and acute lyme from this forum.
I fought both, many times, and I'm out of lyme.
Still, some of my health problems continue, despite not having lyme anymore for at least 6 years.
I solved the lyme-bacterial problem, but I'm still struggling to solve the next step: lack of ability to detox, to take in nutrients, more allergies showing up, some fatigue that persists, chronic candida that keep coming back, losing teeth from root infections, stuff like that.
this article sort of gives me some hints of what to do once you solve all your infectious problems, and still, you do not feel you are in good health.
I swear to you all, the easiest part of the puzzle is to solve infections (how to make them dormant, kill them).

Fungi are just a different form of parasite. They live off of nutrients provided by the host, at the hosts expense.

I know that parasite killing will cause usually a TERRIBLE herxheimer reaction. Call it a herx or not, it is anyway a massive dose of toxins being expelled and poisoning your body.
Any yeast or fungi will do the same, and I find their toxins much worse than borrelia.
Only one that beats candida / fungi toxins are parasites AND BABESIA.
Whatever people call, mycotoxins or simply toxins, herxes or not herxes, we do feel nasty after killing most pathogens and parasites.
