I am doing the no sugar and low carbs diet. no cokes at all, sweets, etc.

after a couple of days I feel even worse. I'm dizzy, weak, and am stumbling when I walk...I'm doing the low dose biaxin and flagyl.

can you herx when you change your diet dramatically?
or is this a low level herx?

Flaygl made me very dizzy. You may need to back down the dose . . . be sure to take in the middle of a good meal so your body can "learn" to handle it. The food can buffer. If the stomach gets upset, that can also trigger dizziness.

Hope you feel better soon.

Also pretty sure that both are somewhat ototoxic, and they can affect the inner / middle ear and trigger dizziness, weakness, stumbling and even trouble thinking / clearly making full sentences.

To (hopefully) help counter ototoxicity, be certain the kinds of liver support that help your liver make glutathione are on board. Milk Thistle is the basic one.

Take all antioxidants / liver support away from Rx by a couple hours, both clock directions.

and be sure to avoid acetaminophen as that blocks glutathione in our bodies and that can then spiral into all kinds of bad effects.

it's hard when you have other conditions and have to take meds for those.

As for the reason for taking Biaxin / Flaygl, you might see if that condition is listed here.

While the photo here can be a little off-putting and, I think, just not relevant but likely just to satisfy someone's enthusiasm . . . rife therapy holds hope for many conditions. Scroll down to see the wide range:

Gluten. Not sure where you are on that page.

It also may be that gluten reactions are poking some of the "holes in your canoe" - and going gluten free can still take several months for the gut to start to really repair. Adding gut irritants like the Rx you mention can further irritate a leaky gut.

As gluten is hidden in so many processed / prepared / restaurant foods, that's another consideration. Even a trace can sink us. Most tests are not accurate so it's well work a total detective approach to being sure not even a trace touches our lips (including in lip balm).

Damage from even a trace can occur for up to six months after exposure. That's why it's so important to be sure. This is not meant to make life harder but, truly, more comfortable in the long run. It can take many months being gluten free to be able to determine if it helps, maybe up to six months.

A genetic celiac test is a good idea along the way.

In general gluten in is: wheat; spelt; kamut; rye; barley and

some oats (they must be certified Gluten Free on the label)

Be very careful about a product is labeled Gluten Free. For instance, a nice friend surprised me last week and brought some frozen Rice Dream. the label all around the lid stated over and over "gluten free"

but it is NOT. Under "ingredients" it states it is made in a facility that processes wheat. NOT acceptable and false labeling, then.

Candida will do that to you when you cut back on its FOOD. It loves sugar and carbs and will fight you tooth and nail to get that food back!!

So ... you could feel worse for a few days, then it will get better. If you can't handle it, you may have to eat just a tiny amount of carbs to keep you from going over the edge.

I do hope you are eliminating gluten also... you will love yourself for doing it.

Yes,I am herhiemering pretty bad right now from not eating carbs.

The last two months I had become disgusted and just started to eat whatever I wanted, mostly carbs of course.

Two months later Im gagging with congestion and feel nauseas all the time.

Well 6 days ago I stopped eating carbs and am now in a pretty bad die-off from not feeding the yeast.

My nausea and congestion has cleared but now I am just about bedridden with all kinds of symptoms.

Im not on any other meds so I know its yeast die -off.

You are on other meds which makes it a little harder to tell whats going on but yes starving yeast can do that to you.

Easy way to tell if it's yeast die-off vs. insufficient calories/carbs:

Take a Molybdenum supplement. Molybdenum helps the body process the toxic byproducts of candida die-off (aldehydes).

If you get better quickly from taking Molybdenum, then you have your answer. Molybdenum won't help with blood sugar crashes.

Whenever I give up sugar, I feel bad for a couple days, headachy, weak, that sorta thing. Then it ends.

I suggest a step-down diet, giving up sugar first but eating sweet fruit. Once you're over the sugar cravings, then start weaning off the sweet fruit.

Frankly, fruit is good for us, so I have some in moderation, like blueberries, strawberries, that type of fruit, and I don't crave sugar anymore.

Today I had a candy bar for old times sake, and it just didn't have that zing for me anymore, which is a good sign!
