They have brown and pink noise there too! Interesting! I can hear it on the desk top without headphones if anyone is wondering. Thanks for sharing.

You need the headphones to get the full BINAURAL effect.
I don't know for pink, brown and white sounds, but for the BINAUREAL, that helps connect your left and right brain hemispheres, you need headphones.
This site above is the best site I found for binaureal sounds. Very clear and deep effects.
Binaureal: one tone on the right ear, a slight different on the left ear: what you hear, in the end is a sort of wavering of sounds, that is done by your brain. That is what causes the hemisphere synchronization effect.
If you hear them separately, you won't listen that wavering. The wavering is MADE by your brain.
If you listen without the headphones, you'll get other benefits, but I wonder how strong will the hemy synch effect be.
