I hve a chest port a cath that hasn't been used in 7 months but gets flushed monthly. My port can easily be moved around a lot in alot of directions and never could in the past it also hurts. No redness or fever I have the IV nurse coming to flush it late this week. Is this dangerous? ??

Did you bump it accidentally or something? I'm wondering why/ how you figured out that it moves around in all these different directions?
Please try not to move port anymore so that if it can be repaired, the surgeon will put you on the schedule ASAP.
So if you are not in immediate distress, then you could wait until tomorrow, Monday to call your surgeon's office for help. Since they placed the port, they are usually the ones that will repair it if anything happens..
If you were in some kind of accident, or more severely injured, or just needing medical attention tonight then you should go to the ER. They will take care of your urgent needs tonight and put a referral in for a surgeon to see you also.
Feel better. Hope you get to keep the port if you need it.
