Hey everyone!

I recently purchased a big bag of Houttunyia powder from 1st Chinese and Woodland Essence's Sida and Hawthorne extracts.

Thing is, I'm not sure how much to take and I have no idea what to do with the powder.

Anyone out there do Buhner's Bart protocol and know what to do with the powder? Do you dump it in a mug of hot water?
Thanks all, any help is much appreciated.

You can encapsulate the powders and take them that way.
Or as i did for houttuynia, make tea from it. Just put some in water, let it cook and then allow to cool to drinking temperature.
Houttuynia doesnt taste that bad at all if you have the 1st chinese bulk bags.
Use something like 5-15grams of herb per cup of tea, a couple of times per day.
There is also the 5:1 concentrate you can get from 1st chinese, but that stuff is best to encapsulate. Use 1-2caps a couple of times per day.

Do you have the coinfection book from Buhner? It does explain a bit about the dosing.

Thanks very much for the info. I do not have the coinfections book yet. Did you find this herb to help a great deal for Bart?

Just catching up on lymenet. I take 1 to 2 dropperfuls of sida, but A-bart works better for me. Maybe that's why I need so much sida.

There's a great tool you can get to help with encapsulating herbs. It's called Cap Em Quick. You can encapsulate 50 at a time.
