How does one know if a past Lyme infection or bartonella infection is in the heart still? All heart tests and I mean several including a cath show nothing? Have read of too many lately passing from Lyme related heart issues. My question really is did these folks have heart testing and it showed? Or no heart testing? I know heart block is a big one and that's usually one that can be picked up on Tests. It's also inductive of a slower heart beat not faster one. Anyone have a clue?

Some may have never had overt symptoms with their hearts and therefore no heart testing.
Others may have had minimal testing since so many patients are ignored by the mainstream medical system.
Still others may have become magnesium deficient and that can cause a sudden heart attack. Most prescription meds deplete our minerals and we MUST replenish them!!

Thank you for that info. Does not sound like me aside from the sleep issues that we know are caused by being in the throws of menopause. I just had a set of labs done testing my immune system which all came back looking great. I wonder if they would all be normal if I still had an active infection? I will have my primary run a magnesium level test at up coming visit. Id be interested to see if that's low.

I felt my heart was going to fail sooner or later, during lyme.
Fortunately, after I started treating lyme with Buhner's herbs, then dr. K's approach, heart symptoms disappeared.
I went to a cardiologist, who tested me and concluded: I'm in great shape for my age, really not an athlete, but close to!
Can you imagine that? I was barely able to walk inside my house, if I walked outside, I felt like fainting, awful palpitations, chest pain, fatigue...
They have NO CLUE.
In my case, treating lyme solved the problem FOR GOOD.
Magnesium + Vit D3 + liver and lymph support + BINDERS are a must if you want to feel a bit better.
Virtually EVERYONE treating lyme for long will go into milk thistle, magnesium, enzymes, green tea, clay, vit D3, Vit C, antioxidants...
Infection lets the body EXTREMELY TOXIC, meaning extremely oxidized. Nothing works well, including the heart. Plus, you can have lyme carditis, so treating both infection and cleaning your body is necessary.
You continue searching for medical help, but if that help does not come, do what you feel is best. In the end, it's ultimately you that can find solutions. Your doc will only help guiding you a bit. That's my view...
