All over. The other day I bent over to tie a shoe and it felt exactly like my thigh muscle was tearing away from the bone. Ouch and scary. It still hurts doing certain movements. The area now feels swollen - and hard.
Am remembering a sentence from MRI of last month:
"Right hip reveals soft tissue edema/strain of the right anterior thigh musculature".
What does "right" mean here???
Overall what could this mean? be?
TIA. (FWIW the three MRI's show other things - that confirm - yes I am GFA - generally falling apart).

"Right" means the right side of your body. If the muscle is swollen and hard, it's likely in spasm.
Things to do if a muscle is in spasm: Take magnesium Hot compresses PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field)

Thanks.
When I got the MRI reports back I could not figure out the location of the strain detected.
I can now say I found the area. Ugh.
Apparently I have tears and partial tears in several places - hips, hamstrings, etc.
Does this happen with Lyme?

I don't know but it totally happened to me. Last November. It felt like my leg was tearing out of my hip socket. At nearly the same moment a cervical disk bulged at c5/6.
This was *before* any quinolones.
Then two months later three more busted in my lumbar spine.
My lower back still hurts and it still doesn't feel like my leg got screwed back in correctly.

Traumeel or T-relief are great products to speed muscle tear healing. Both are homeopathic remedies that you can use topically (cream or gel) and/or internally (sublingual tablets). LuckyVitamin.com has good prices for them.
Also make sure you're taking in enough Magnesium, Vitamin C with bioflavinoids and Omega 3 essential fatty acids which can affect muscle health, flexibility and healing.

And calcium too!!!
Calcium for some can relieve the spasms. Magnesium can make them worse for some.
