after I walk in the morning, I come home, shower, and go to bed.

I sleep for as little as 2 hours but sometimes sleep until noon or later. often 4-5 hours.

I'm going to bed at 10 and getting up at 7 to walk.

I do a bp pill at night and .375 of ativan. hey, slow and easy on the withdrawal.

but I don't understand the exhaustion and sleepiness. I don't strain but do a gentle walk. still hurts my feet tho.

I don't want to stop as it help my heart and I need to loose weight.

but egads, after a month I'm still exhausted.

all bloodwork, tests are normal. little low on potassium and mag but nothing else.

thyroid, etc, all normal.

ijus stay pooped all the time.

Assuming your body has enough real food (yes, enough) to go on before and after exercise . . . .

It's not going to help your heart, your body or weight if it's stressing your body like that. Whether a gentle pace or not, it's stressing your body to have that degree of serious reaction to it.

In fact, stress hormones can cause weight gain.

In the links set below are many things to consider: if you still have active, chronic tick-borne or other stealth infection, that is number one to consider.

And, no, this won't show on typical blood tests that typical doctors do.

Adrenal dysfunction and similar matters will not show up on any typical blood tests. Nor will some thyroid abnormalities. Often, the tests are not done correctly.

As sad as this may make you to give up being out in nature and walking with a preset notion of goal,

I encourage you to still get out into nature and BE in nature for the essential benefits of just being out there, even if strolling a bit &/or sitting on park benches.

It may be that every OTHER day would work. Or every three days with Qigong or similar on the "off" days. Listen to your body. Honor the signals.

And there are other physical activities in which to engage that won't likely cause the damage to your adrenal system that seems likely at this point.

QIGONG & light WEIGHT TRAINING - or gentle PILATES

Qigong can be surprisingly helpful to the heart, for instance. Qigong can also be surprisingly helpful to strengthen muscles and improve balance and endurance. And you can adapt it to your needs.

However, it's best to get expert instruction from the start for the form specifics. Videos are not going to be exact enough to guide your body with the exact movements at first.

If your joints (wrists, elbows, knees, hips) are okay, light weight training can also help in other ways.

Please, I know it's hard not to focus on weight but, I guarantee that if you are that exhausted from the walking, it is not about to help you loose weight - it's actually going to make it much harder.

And if chronic infection is not being addressed, it could also be making loosing weight impossible.

Other dietary factors such as food additives or certain inflammatory foods can be involved in puffiness as well.

The real question, too: are you getting enough food. Starving serves no purpose.

There are likely many Qigong instructors near you - for a form that is restorative in nature (some are harsher, so be sure the form fits).

As deflating as it may be, a much more gentle approach seems required so that you do not suffer the damage you incur daily at this point.

Now, your MD is not likely to understand all this at all. He is not LL, so that's one reason why.

It seems that ongoing chronic lyme might need to be more assertively addressing first but also a very good naturopathic doctor who understand adrenal issues seems a good move.

Without specific adrenal support - as outlined in the links set above - your body may not stand a chance. With adrenal support and carefully chosen activity that does not exhaust you . . . well, there is hope.

There are other body organs / systems to consider, too, yet a very good naturopathic doctor (preferably one who is LL) is best to work with on that.

Just as a much different approach is required, a much different kind of doctor from the main one you have now is also required to help you make sense of what exactly is impeding you at this point and what, exactly, might be the path forward.

Be careful about falling back on old patterns of thinking about body size and movement. It matters to shake that all away and start with a more specific look.

Harder than accepting the reality of being "different" in ways of exercise is what to say to others who may taunt you and criticize for your differences, without them even bothering to understand.

You might share the links set if they do want to expand their minds but please don't fall into feeling you have to defend yourself as you find the right rhythm and activities for your body.

The links set below just opens some doors on that.

Feet: Foot pain when you walk likely raises your stress hormones, cortisol, etc. And that can cause weight gain, damage adrenal system and cause exhaustion to be more than it might otherwise.

Though your feet / foot pain is not the only issue here, your tender feet may do well with some new shoes and custom made or custom prescribed (though pre-made) shoe inserts. And they may need to be replaced very few months.

A good podiatrist to look at your feet, your shoes, how you walk, etc. is very important. Just don't let them inject any steroids (you have mentioned a bunion. There may be some kinds of massage therapy or ultraviolet light / ultrasound therapy to help).

Also revisit any likelihood of BARTONELLA. Many with chronic lyme also deal with this.

That can cause all kinds of distress to the feet. And if bartonella might be on board, it's all the more important to get with a very good LLMD or LL ND.
