Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the site and new to lyme.

I started feeling sick last June 2015 and tested positive last December 2015. So this is all new to me.

I've been seeing a naturopath who's been treating me following the Dr K of Washington method (?) for the past 2 months. Basically its treatment with herbal supplements and no antibiotics.

I've just recently started to come to the realization that this is much more of a complex disease to fight than first thought, and i will likely need to find an experienced Doctor that can treat me with antibiotics. Also I do think I may have some co-infections possibly babesia and bartonela.

Ive been reading about different protocols, doctors reviews etc. and have to say I'm completely overwhelmed as where to start.

Any advise regarding selecting a doctor?

I'm willing to travel anywhere to treat this disease.

Thanks, Rodeo

Welcome..and you will find loads of info and good people here..you have a good chance to get it "early"...godspeed in what ever modalities you choose..

.a recent llnp said throw everything in the book at it ..what works for one doesnt work for others..the cheep modalities and expensive alike..money doesnt hurt

..check out better health guy (he used to post here).look up mitchells rant on mdjunction.watch under our skin and justinandcristie.ca, neil spector and dave martz ,evi sapi are docs that have it.

detox .heavy metals and mtfhr. Mold ,parasites and coinfections will make you a functional medicine doc in no time flat...its a lot to handle at first .im still in denial.

There is rife coil and plasma, mhbot, herbs, abx ,antiparasites anti virals antifungals,iv abx ,ozone, silver ,h202,uvbx,phages,mms,saltc,bvt..and photons. Homeopathy and probably more.

..some work for some...i do think dr k saying biggest to smallest has validaty..as parasites can carry borellia themselves..then bacteria then viruses...dr j in dc gets results ,hansa center, germany has clinic...denver has one..

Best wishes and we are here as you need . Some one else has or is going thru it or worse..you are not alone
