I'm trying to decide on a new rife. I have the Doug coil but it hasn't really helped and I read that getting a rife with plasma will work better and drive frequencies deeper into the body. I know the spooky 2 is new but I know it has plasma like the mopa. Could anyone who has one respond and tell me how hey like the spooky, the plasma setup cost around the same price as the mopa. Or could you please direct me to a place where people talk about the spooky 2. There are testimonials on the spooky website but I don't know if they are real.

Hi katrinab,

You can browse the Spooky forums to read more about people's experiences. You have to sign up in order to see posts though.
http://www.spooky2.com/forums/index.php

On paper the GB4000 plasma tube is more powerful at 118W vs 40W for the Spooky Central tube. However someone just posted today that the power output of a plasma tube is not as simple as just looking at the input watts:

"Finally, the actual OUTPUT from plasma tubes should not be referred to in "watts", even though watts INPUT into the tube is one relevant factor.
Power through 2 dimensional wires is in watts.
Power through 3 dimensions (such as air), is in watts/meter-squared.

Plasma output can be very different from radio antenna output, due to variations in gas density, size and shape of tube, frequency range, and other factors."

Also the Spooky2 plasma system can run without a carrier frequency or with a carrier that is completely configurable. So I have been using a carrier frequency which is a higher harmonic of the killing frequency I'm running at the time. These higher harmonics can increase the effectiveness greatly, see the work of Anthony Holland for more info.

This means that all of the power output of Spooky2 can be focused on frequencies with therapeutic effects, rather than a high proportion being used on a non-therapeutic fixed carrier such as 3.1mhz like the GB4000.

You can download the software and try it out. It's free and will run in simulation mode if it can't detect a frequency generator.

Some people claim to find it difficult to learn to use. I think with a quick read of the manual it's fairly straightforward if not the most aesthetically pleasing interface ever created. The new versions will start in 'simple' mode so that a lot of complexity is hidden.

The power of the Spooky system is that the software gives you the ability to customize the treatment using the more complex features if you want. So it gives you a lot more flexibility than could ever be put into a hardware interface like that of the GB4000. But if you're starting out it's pretty easy to just search for a CAFL Lyme frequency set from the database and click Start.

Katrina:

I have a Doug coil and a GB4000.

Nothing gives better penetration into the body than the Doug coil. --NOTHING.

The weakness of the Doug coil is that it heats up at high frequencies and you have to stop and let it cool, plus it only runs one frequency at a time. You can't run anything higher than 2000, and anything above 1200 is really not practical because of the heating up.

This is why I bought a gb4000. But I still use the coil for spot treating, because nothing gives better penetration into a concentrated area.

This spooky2 thing - I don't even know what it is. It's software that you download and then you have to supply your own ray tube or foot pads? You have to supply a separate outboard frequency generator? How does it all hook up? I've read about it on their site, I've looked at 2 youtube videos on it, and I still don't know what it is. I don't have the patience for that. It all seems kind of phony to me.

It's basically an off-the shelf frequency generator with some customized firmware that's rebranded as Spooky and that you plug into your PC with a usb cable. The Spooky software is made specifically to control the generator for Rife purposes, sending it the waveforms and frequencies based on what you select.

You can buy handheld cylinders or tens contact pads along with the generator, there is also kit that bundles everything together.

Finally if you want plasma there is an addon called Spooky Central which plugs into the Spooky frequency generator to amplify the signal and increase the voltage, similar to the MOPA addon for GB4000. The plasma system also has PEMF and ultrasonic attachments.

Here's a pic of the whole setup including the plasma system, the frequency generator is lower left and the plasma amp has the tube sitting on it:
