I've recently tested pos for lyme and haven't yet taken medication or seen a LLMD.
I'm allergic to penicillin and just noticed some of the drugs used sound like they could be from the penicillin family?
I've only taken antibiotics a couple times in my life time so this is all new to me.
Is this allergy a major concern?
Anyone here in the same situation?

- You can easily avoid Rx in the penicillin family. No worries there. As you likely already do, just make sure every single health professional is crystal clear on this point.
Whichever LLMD or LL ND you do see and work with, well, they should develop an individualized treatment protocol just for your body.

- Whatever treatment plan you land on, this is a key element for your comfort and safety (though would not at all negate an allergy, to be clear):
