I've noticed that lately my heart feels like its racing. I felt it happen today while sitting down ( I had been siting down a while) and used my friend's watch to check it. He said his watch is very accurate. I also timed it the old-school way, and it came out with similar results.
My resting heart rate was 108. Web says normal is 60-100, but I could feel my heart racing/a change.
What could cause this?

many things, for me i get that with a reaction to certain foods/meds/supplements.
But I can also get it with with some electrical exposures: cell phones, smartmeters, even new wiring in some houses.
Low blood pressure can also cause this. I'm sure others will pitch in with other possibilities.

- Caffeine?
You might check for any Rx side effects
and check any supplements / powdered foods / even gum or breath mints
See post: Caution: Aspartate; Glutamine; and Phenylalanine (3 excitatory amino acids that can be wrong for us when added as supplements, beyond a normal dietary level)
Seaweed has its own natural MSG and can be very excitatory -
