- Sorry for the uncertain situation you find yourself in. As I understand it, the tests nay not be trusted for early stage as Hepatitis C can be very slow growing virus and it just might not show up in tests. And, there can be variables.
See the test links below, though, and talk with those who are up on the latest techniques.
An expert in Hep C - and also in lyme is below. Just use the site to find his book on Hep C. After you read his book and study his website, give him a call.
I saw him speak years ago, a full day's workshop and patients flew in from 4 states to attend it. Many had worked with him for some time and most were doing exceptionally well.
He also agreed to add a section on lyme for that workshop, just for myself and one other person and made note to the others that they really needed to know about lyme whether or not they had it. So the material overlapped and we all learned bit about each others' condition that all should know about. -

- While all this is certainly distressing to ponder, it may be that by looking into the unique aspects of this doctor's work, you will have tools that can help in so many way. There is every reason to hope that "better" can certainly be an outcome to this new call to action. -

- I would also absolutely get a rife machine (unless you have a pacemaker).
Many of these reference links are geared to lyme disease, yet it can also be a exceptionally good tool to have against Hepatitis C -- along with excellent support methods.
Guidance with a naturopathic doctor who is both lyme literate and well educated in hepatitis would be good. The author of the book above may be able to direct you someone he can recommend who would be up to speed. -

is among these books. Also search his site for postings.
He is a master herbalist / researcher / writer and does not currently have a patient practice. However, he does know of the best around the country. You might contact him for recommendations.
His books are also at Amazon, where you can read numerous reader reviews. -

Hepatitis - an excellent chapter with much to consider
from:
Though not at all about lyme, this is one of the best reference resources on my bookshelf that has wonderful chapters, many graciously available through their website.
. . . Dr. Burton M. Berkson was among the first to discover a natural treatment regimen. He is an internist and during his training was given several patients who were expected to die from hepatitis C.
His job was to merely “babysit” them in the ICU and, basically, watch them die. He did not do that, but rather called his associate at the National Institutes of Health and used a combination of three natural antioxidants.
These three patients, who were not expected to live more than a few weeks, completely recovered. What were the antioxidants? . . . -

Keebler, you said "An expert in Hep C - and also in lyme is below. Just use the site to find his book on Hep C. After you read his book and study his website, give him a call. "
Which link were you referring to?
I have done a lot of research and it supposed to be very rare to pass as an std. So I'm hoping this is not going to be an issue. I am going to get a different test.

Huh, the very same thing happened to me.
I was with someone who didn't tell me until much much later they had it. This was around the time I was starting to feel weirder and weirder and I got many, many Hep C tests.
Always negative but I checked for about two years afterwards, getting sicker.
I don't think you have it. Hep C transmission is possible but rare.
