Hello I am new to the group, I have had Lyme and valley fever (cocci) for 13 years and now I am trying hyperbaric which I feel very optimistic about. I recently bought a used Resprio 270 and a Airsep10 L oxygen concentrator. I have done 25 dives so far and I am feeling subtle changes. I have a couple of questions, they probably have already been answered before but I have extreme light sensitivity so looking through pages and pages on the computer easily gives me a migraine. Is it okay to bring a smart phone into the chamber, not for making calls but listening to talks or music. I tried it on the outside but because of the noise it did not work well. Another question, I live in an area where there can be frequent power outages, it this a problem? I would think the air leakage through the valves would be slow enough not to be an issue. Great group - Thank you for now
Unlike some commercial chambers, home chambers are designed to use room air to pressurize the chamber (instead of pure 02). According to what I and others have been told by the manufacturer, this makes them safe to bring a phone inside, as the interior 02 levels don't reach high enough concentrations to be of concern.
Here's a video of a mythbuster trying to start a fire in a home chamber:
If there is a power outage, your concentrator will sound an alarm, and the chamber will begin to deflate, but it won't be an immediate decompression. If this happens, just turn the valve toward deflation as usual, and get out of the chamber once the gauge reads zero and there is slack in the zipper.

thank you Phoiph for that information. The way my brain is not working life can be frustrating at times. Do I use the reply window on the hyperbaric thread. It seems like all I saw was just replying to a previous post. Is that how it works, since my brain is not working so well. It probably is easy I just can't follow it through.
