If lyme use up all this manganese as a cofactor for their enzymes, upon cell death of billions of spirochetes during treatment, does toxic manganese become an issue?

It says the symptoms of manganese toxicity are ALS and MS... which are also lyme symptoms.
I dunno, all that manganese that Bb needs has to go somewhere when the bacteria die off.

It's an interesting question. In all likelihood, there would be a load of different unwelcome substances released, including fungi, metals etc, but nonetheless, many people seem to heal from Lyme without Herxes.
