Can you lift light weights with a PICC line in the arm? I've had a PICC line before, but I don't remember (thanks, brain fog)!

No, sorry! You are able to resume normal daily activities though.

I realize that isn't enough information. You are going to ask, why?
You can damage the vein by increasing the pressure exerted on and around it. This would increase your risk of forming a blood clot in the arm.
Also, you can rupture the catheter. This can cause the a catheter fragment to migrate to your heart. That is an emergency, life threatening situation.

You should care for the pic line like you were caring for an infant. You need it to last as long as possible.
Some recommendations say you can lift up to ten pounds, but I wouldn't push it. Upper body exercises can wait.
Strengthen those legs so you can do the boog-a-loo down broadway some day.
