I am confused about whether Autonomic Response Testing is the same thing as Applied Kinesiology, or not?

Could someone explain this to me?

If they are different, which one would identify which pathogens are in someone's body?

Also how to find a good practitioner? Thank you!

ART is the 'school' formed by dr. K.

He based his knowledge first on Applied Kinesiology, but developed his own method, so to say.

Both can identify pathogens.

I guess the best is to concentrate on finding good practitioners, whoever you find with some experience with lyme is best.

I like ART, but it doesn't mean all ART practitioners are wonderful.

For dr. K, just google it, you'll find the list. If not just send me a PM.

Thanks for the explanation! That makes sense.

There is only one Dr. K certified practitioner near me and she's very young, only been out of school for a few years, not much experience. So I'm thinking that's not a good bet.

So maybe I should find a regular applied kinesiologist instead? There are probably more of those to choose from.

Someone with experience is best (for chronic lyme).

what the lady who practices ART can do though, is check your organs, meridians, blockades, teeth. Also check the foods that you can eat, the no-no foods, and help you with binders and chelators.

Even if she doesn't know anything about lyme, she can help supporting your organs and meridians.

But as I said, any energetic test can be a plus.

Interesting. Would she be able to see which binders are good for a particular person?

That would be one of the first things they learn: how to test anything (remedies, binders, acupressure points, organs...) for any person.

So I suppose yes.

Dr. K was one of the first doctors to insist that heavy metals played a role on chronic infections, and has been using chlorella and other binders, chelators much before all lyme literate doctors even knew about this problem.

His teachings on heavy metals and recently, electrosmog, are present in most of his courses.

So I guess, she may lack the experience to use these techniques on patients, but you might be her first lab rat?!

She may even test killers, or your supplements. If she can't, she's not an ART practitioner!

The only problem is more personal, I mean, if she is open for you to bring your own stuff to be tested.

I always brought everything I was taking, and everything I wished to take. They tested, if I asked them to (I saw 2 different ART drs), then still gave me their own treatment stuff.

they were absolutely not complaining I was doing parallel treatments (theirs, and my own through Buhner, Chinese herbs etc).

If the ART practitioner did the dr. K's psycho-kinesiology courses too, she will be able to ask for blockades too. It's quite helpful, I find!

they can spot psycho problems rather easily, with very easy treatments, questions are not too much invasive, and the result is, I swear, almost immediate sometimes.

Most of dr. K's PK techniques are basically aimed to improve health. Just check her credentials if she's done also the PK courses.

Here in Europe, the practitioners cost about 80 euro an hour to 150 euro. They stay 1, 2 hours with you.
