I'm freaking out about this one. Woke up this morning with these shooting, numb pains going down my left leg. Feels kinda like when I had my spinal tap and the guy kept hitting the nerves in my spine. So I guess my nerves are really, really messed up now. This numb feeling won't go away. L
Anyone else experience this? I'm so sick of getting sicker.

No, I'm not. But I am on the dreaded Levaquin. My tendons are fine though. I have bad body-wide neuropathy anyway, but I've never had anything like this before.

Have you started any new meds or herbs lately? Can any of the medicines you're on cause this?
You can always call your pharmacist and ask if any of the meds you're on can cause this if you're too sick or tired to look it up.
I really hope you feel better soon!

Thanks me. Nothing new at all. Just Levaquin, doxy, and bactrim. I've taken a little knotweed but it's been several days since I've taken it. Knotweed seemed to be making me herx so I backed off. I did start taking zzzquill (Benadryl) every night to help me sleep but I don't think that would cause this.

I dunno... I've been on bactrim on and off for almost two years and it's been great for me. I'm really thinking its "just" the infection. Guess I really should try to get more b vitamins in there to help protect things though.

Numb arms and legs are so common during lyme treatment. I rarely took any drugs for lyme, but I did have numb arms or legs, specially when in bed.
For me, these were mostly lyme symptoms. I never got that again, since lyme went dormant.
I do have some numb fingers though during cold seasons. But never anymore whole arms or legs going numb.
For me, these were merely lyme symptoms and they faded with lyme treatment. It was not caused by drugs in my case, for sure, as I barely took any drug.

Good to hear Brussels, thank you! I'm sure that's what's happening to me. It's weird though, I'm getting these electrical "zap" feelings down that leg. I'm sure Lyme treatment is all I need.
