Thyroid is definitely part of it. Won't your GP refer you?
I'm telling you, Doctors know very little about the thyroid and I'm including endocrinologists in that statement.
Most will use only the synthetic meds and they don't work.
Hope you get some clues on the sweats.
Do you eat a lot of potatoes or other foods high in oxalates?

NO... when your body detoxes oxalates, you can end up in heavy sweats.
Spinach?

I was so hoping you were going to say eat a bag of potatoes-
I do eat spinach but not a lot lately-
Yep could be a Babs relapse but I dont really think I have ever completely gotten rid of it - not sure if that is even possible for someone that was sick as long as I was -
But I do have a feeling it could be Thyroid/hypothalamus problem from what my LLMD said at a big meeting-
LLMD has moved now so I dont really have good contact with her any more --Jay--

It could be babs, thyroid, hypothalamus. Babs can give heavy sweats, poor sleep and more.

Definitely could be Babs.
Time to find a GP. They are usually better than endocrinologists for thyroid testing and treatment (in my opinion). When you get tested, ask for Free T3, Free T4 (besides the T3, T4) and thyroid antibody tests. Often these are not run, and they are the most important tests.
I also recommend getting adrenal and hormone function tested. I think saliva testing is best. Lyme can affect all hormone levels.
