I tested positive for Igm P23 Ab and IgG P41 Ab.
There are no lyme literate doctors anywhere near me that take new patients. An Integrative Health care nurse met with me, listened to my concerns that Doxy doesn't kill Cysts, yet prescribed me 30 days of 100mg of doxy 2x a day.
I coaxed her into another prescription for metronidazole which does work on cysts, but just discovered that doxy inhibits the effects of metronidazole, so they aren't supposed to be used together.
Do I just take the doxy or request some other combo that doesn't inhibit metronidazoles functions?
My concern if I just take doxy is that I may just send the spirochetes into a cystic phase deeper into my soft tissue and make them harder to get at.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi. My wife and I are farmer's and always have ticks on us.
My wife is over 18 and has a rash where she was bitten by ticks. It is not a classic bull's eye though.
We have bags full of ticks we have pulled off of us. We try to get them off before 24 hours.
Anyways, we are in Georgia and would greatly appreciate a good Lyme Specialist for a clinical diagnosis. Thank you! [End 2012 post by Steveo] -

If it were me (and it's not), I would consider taking the doxy, then following it with the flagyl. In either case, you will need more.

Antibiotics are alwsts best first but in your case eith ling term heavy exposure unle$ you have a lot of money and time to put into treatment i would look into buhner ir other herbs you can get without prescription
I think you will find you need long term treatment
Keebler probably knows the name of a few herns or supps that are known as cyst busters and will help with doxy Ty o do job you want flagyl to do
One is grape or grapefruit seed...i always get them mixed up
Get buhners book and find him online. You guys are going to need a lot of treatment
Depends on your genes how hard it will be
Use permethrin to stop new bites. Sawyers is best but highest concentrate you can find in horse spray works. So far nothing else has been found to kill them and stop attachment
Good luck.
