ACTION ALERT! Do you want patients and their treating physicians to have a voice in setting federal Lyme policy? Please use this voter voice link to contact your Senator, even if you have done so before. We need thousands of people. Share with your friends! The Senate version of the federal Lyme bill is still alive and will probably be offered up as an amendment to a larger bill. If your Senator has already cosponsored the bill, you can thank them for cosponsoring the bill and ask them to work for its passage.
You are generating lots of letters, but there's no such thing as too many. Last time we looked New York was winning with most letters, followed by California, Pennsylvania and Minnesota. If you are in another state, I know you want your Senators to have just as many letters as the winners! Click here to send yours.
Don't forget to click the little Twitter icon also, and forward this letter to all your friends and relatives. Put the link on Facebook! People do need reminders.
_You don't need to write your own letter! _
Here's what Courtney from our New York group wrote:
I just submitted my letter. So easy! When I first saw the request Ithought you were asking us to write out a letter and snail mail it.I planned on doing it this morning but then I clicked the link andrealized everything was basically already done for us! I just had toadd a quick line and press send! It took less than 5 minutes everybody. This could really create somechanges in our care and treatment, let's get as many letters out as possible!
You can send your letter NOW and it will be in your senators' inbox on Monday morning. If you can call or visit your senator, that's even better. We want them to CO-SPONSOR the bill, S. 1503.
