my sister, who has rheumatoid arthritis. is being put on 10 mg lipitor. she already takes a ton of meds.

she asked me and I told her 10 mg is jus as bad as 40, 60, or even 80, and that side effects occur at all doses.

her doctor told her statin side effects are only at high doses. so I said well take at your own risk.

I'm pretty sure even the smallest dose of a statin is poison. isn't that right?

well my husband took 20 mg and he ended up almost crippled in his legs. it took over six months before he could use his hands and legs without pain.

my other sister had severe problems also.

and she's on alot of ra meds including iv treatments. who knows what statins do to ra patients.

Wow, it's disgusting docs prescribe these. People need to change their diets, not take a pill like this.
