I just went to start blood tests today. 12 tubes taken today and another 12 tubes on Monday. They said I couldn't get CD57 panel done in New York State ? Whatever...
Anyways, my question to the geniuses(warriors) is if I start a high regiment of abx in 2 weeks, what would be the best way to start getting my gut ready ?
I would request what products I would need to purchase, not online, what they are for, and where to get them. Thank you.

VSL#3 probiotic powder or capsules (at least two capsules per day, one in am and pm). These are high quality probiotics. There is also a higher dose version in RX form but insurance does not like to cover it.
Florastor, a special probiotic not killed by antibiotics. It is actually a friendly fungi that out competes candida and prevents c-diff. This is very very important. I've found that the brand works best.
Both the VSL and Florastor will help protect your gut. They prevent serious GI problems and complications that typically arise from using antibiotics.
Once you are on the antibiotics, you will continue both supplements. Just be sure to take the VSL 2 hours after antibiotics. The Florastor, 2 hours after antifungals (remember, it can be taken at the same time or close to antibiotics).
Both of these things can be bought at your local pharmacy. I get mine at CVS. If they do not have them in stock, they will special order for you no extra charge, you will have it next day! Price is same pretty much every where.
Take care!

Dannon Triple Zero yogurt soothes and heals the gut as well as Slippery Elm. Marshmallow Root is also good. You can cushion the gut with a heaping tsp of yogurt before taking an antibiotic.

You can still find superior products when needed offline. You will be limited though to what a good health food store carries nearby.
You will also need to purchase supplements through your health care providers. They offer professional grade supplements that are not sold over the counter. Basically like prescriptions.
It is often cheaper and easier for us to find things and order online. That is probably why you are not getting many responses.
Remember, supplements are meant to supplement a good diet. So what you eat is very important. Eat good quality foods to heal. Try to eat a variety of colors every day. That will help your stomach and whole body.

Today's blood work consisted of 24 tubes, not 12 that I thought it would be. Holy smokes. . . was I crying ? You bet I was. I just kept thinking, this ain't nothing, you got this girl.
Anyways, thank you Sammy.
The only reason I don't want to order online is because I only have 2 weeks to start treating my gut and want to start tomorrow.
I picked up florastor today at Walgreens.
