Anyone have any info or experience with Lyme diagnosis last August 2015, treated Doxy but still having a constant 24X7 headache?

Headache is more of head pressure that fluctuates in pain level 3-7/8 in a 3-4 week pattern. Some brain fog, short term memory issues also but no fatigue or joint issues.

LLMD suspects Bartonella as a co infection to the original Lyme diagnosis but since only treated with Doxy thatbwoukdnt target the Bart? Are we on the Right track? And anyone else have just these symptoms?

Lyme can cause intracranial hypertension that can feel like a vise-like headache. But so can Bartonella. I would assume if your doc was going to try to treat the Bart that they would add Rifampin to the mix.

I would try another antibiotic to see what happens. I couldn't take doxy very long. It DOES cross the blood-brain barrier.

Babesia can cause severe headaches. Do you have any Babesia symptoms?
