Hello everyone!

Lately I've noticed that my heart seems to be worse than usual. For well over a year I've been tachycardiac but it just seems to be getting worse despite my treatment. I have a resting heart rate of 113. This isn't normal and it's scary.

Not to mention that now the palpitations are followed with shortness of breath, pain, and confusion. Is there something I should be doing? I feel like I'm confined to my bed bc every time I have to go and do something, I feel like my heart is going to give out.

Any advice on this? It's really concerning. I can't get this fluttering feeling out of my throat.

Are you being treated for lyme? Maybe someone can chime in, but I think babesia has shortness of breath, etc.

I'm sorry.

She is on IV rocephin plus other meds. See this thread:

http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php/topic/1/135075#000000

I suggest you buy and take a high dose of CoQ10, like 400 mg per day and see what it will do for you.

Please read the article I posted recently that says that various meds deplete our bodies of CoQ10, magnesium, B vitamins, etc. and so we have to supplement with these.

http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php/topic/3/36714#000000

CoQ10 is specifically for heart health. I hope it works and works quickly for you. It worked in 2 days to stop my continual daily migraines.

So, if your treatment has made you deficient, hopefully you will see a quick response like I did.

From Burrascano, page 28:

"CO-Q10- required, but do not use while taking the prescription drug atovaquone (Mepron, Malarone).

Deficiencies have been related to poor function of the heart, limitations of stamina, gum disease, and poor resistance to infections. Heart biopsy studies in Lyme patients indicated that they should take between 300 and 400mg daily. I recommend the Co Q-10 from Researched Nutritionals. One caplet contains 400 mg, so the dose is one a day with food."

"ALPHA LIPOIC ACID (required)
This facilitates entry of CoQ-10 into mitochondria. Dose is 300 mg twice daily. Generic is OK."

MAGNESIUM (required)
Magnesium supplementation is very helpful for the tremors, twitches, cramps, muscle soreness, heart skips and weakness."

If you buy MagTab SR, it is a 12 hour time release mag which is very good for giving you an even level of mag at all times. Take 2 in a.m. and 2 in p.m. You won't have to worry about loose stools with this time release mag either.

You can buy CoQ10 in grocery stores. Vitamin Shoppe has the best price.

Please see a doctor.

I do second the MAGNESIUM AND COQ10!

Here is the CoQ10 that I buy:

I will definitely buy the COQ10! I'm already taking magnesium daily by will af the other to my regimen. I am concerned that the IV Rocephin or the Plaquenil and zithro combination are the cause although I've had this symptom for well over a year now.

I've been to scarfing isn't but they really didn't tell me much, let alone believe a 29 year old could have heart problems. But I am scheduled to see a new cardiologist soon. Hopefully I goes well! Thank you all for your input!

Here is a good article with a list of Babesia symptoms. Babesia causes air hunger, hot flashes and severe headaches as well as heart issues plus much more. Buhner lists herbs to take for Babesia in his book, "Healing Lyme."

Zithromax might be causing it!!

Consult your LLMD right away!

After getting checked out by a cardiologist, consider mold.

I hate heart symptoms... Mine disappeared with lyme treatment, in the past.

More recently, my heart symptoms were ALL linked to bad root canals (dead teeth). My LLMD said heart symptoms are very common with CAVITATIONS, which are bone infections, usually on dead teeth.

The patient feels next to nothing because the teeth are dead, but infection spreads through the roots, to bones to the whole body.

http://www.peakenergy.com/articles/nh20141223/Can-a-dental-infection-cause-a-massive-heart-attack?

The day I pulled one of my dead teeth off, ALL my heart symptoms stopped.

I woke up in a startle every single night, for no reason. Even that stopped. High blood pressure (ups and downs), arrhythmia for no reason...

Like magic, these symptoms stopped in less than 2 days, since the cavitation treatment.

My lyme dr said it is VERY common to get heart symptoms with cavitations.

https://www.hugginsappliedhealing.com/root-canals-toxic.php

--- Can root canals cause heart disease? ---

These questions are not new, nor are the findings.

Indeed, Dr. Weston Price and Mayo's Clinic of 1910 to 1920 described finding bacterial growth in root canals that could be transferred into animals and create the same diseases the donor human had in from 80 to 100 percent of the animals.

Heart disease, in particular, could be transferred 100 percent of the time.

His research has since been suppressed by the various Dental Associations in the United States.

"For instance, in root canals or cavitations in people with MS, a bacterium, Enterobacter was found.

It was also found in ALS and Alzheimer patients (AD).

Is there a similarity, since they are all neurological diseases?

Enterobacter is noted for involvement in ENDOCARDITIS (inflammation around the heart), bone infections —

"can cause disease in virtually any body compartment;" and "cause considerable mortality and morbidity rates.

Exposure to one type of Enterobacter can result in neurological disorders. They do not usually cause immediate death."
