I don't now what to do. The horrible scraping burning with every beat pressure that keeps me from breathing right mostly grows in the front and on the right side of my heart. Now it's spread to the back of my heart too. I feel it in my left shoulder blade horribly.
I cant breathe. My heart is dying. I don't know what to do anymore. The hospital is a joke. My family thinks I just need to suck it up and deal with it. They can't see what's happening to my heart. The only hospital that might help is two hours away, and the chances are still slim to none.
My best hope is trying to figure out what to take myself. I don't know what to do. I'm breaking down here. My heart is finally about to go.
Someone mentioned colloidal silver. Not sure what brand is good. Guess I should try plaquenil too along with gobs of ibuprofen to get the inflammation off my heart. I don't know what antibiotic to take anymore. My doc gave me prescriptions for like 12 different antibiotics to try whatever I wanted.
I dunno. Sorry for all this ranting. Things are beyond horrible. I just don't know what to do. I can't drive, I can't sit up, I can hardly walk across the house. This has to get better soon.
Maybe lauricidin, essential oils, colloidal silver, plaquenil, gse, ibuprofen, plus the right antibiotics will do something. I have Factive from overseas. I wonder if it's what I need. Supposedly its great for both Lyme and Bart. I just don't know anymore.

Hey there.
I don't know either, Sam -- no one does. But the things I know about heart problems are that vitamin b1 and aspirin are both very helpful. Turmeric may also - anything to get the inflammation down.
Sometimes treating Lyme the inflammation is so bad that people get a short course of steroids with their abx. I know you had a bad experience before but maybe if you covered it enough with abx you could avoid the consequences.
If you go to the hospital, get the dilaudid. There is no reason for any living creature to endure this kind of pain for one minute, not to mention constantly.

Thanks Jordana. If it weren't for my thrush I might try a steroid. Fungal infections can supposedly turn deadly with steroids. ): ): I'm on tons of prescription antifungals and it still won't go away.
And it's not just the pain. It's the squeezing my heart that keeps it from pumping right that's hardest to take, makes it so hard to breathe. I gotta get rid of the inflammation.
Sorry to complain. I'm just at a loss here. Turmeric might be good. Quercetin too. I think ibuprofen and aspirin are equivalent when it comes to pericarditis, but I'm not 100% sure. I do really appreciate the ideas.
Im not gonna go to the hospital unless I start totally gasping for air. I've learned I have a better chance of survival at home than I do in a hospital.

Actually I am alone. My wife's birthday is tomorrow so I told her to go enjoy the day today. It's alright though.

Maybe the antibiotics are too much for you right now. Maybe for a while you should just take anti-fungals?

Tulips, I get much sicker without antibiotics actually. I've tried stopping and it's impossible. I crash bad within two to three days.
Lymetoo, I actually asked Dr. C if he could point me towards a good heart doc or help me with that in any way. His best suggestion was for me to try and get my PCP to order a transesophageal echo.
Sorry to complain about this. I appreciate all the suggestions. There's an answer out there somewhere.

Sam, you're not complaining. You're researching, meanwhile it's hard to believe you're just lying there with something so serious. I'll just never understand.

Lymetoo, I have a cardiologist in a big town a couple hours away from me, but he's pretty much useless. It's been almost a year since I've seen him. And I think my PCP is out until after the new year now. I'll too ably end up trying to see if he can help me.
Jordana, I don't understand either. Who knows, maybe I'll go to med school once this is all over. I'd love to help people. We need more good doctors in the world.

Is there a University near you with a Medical School? If so, there should be excellent cardiologists there. The professors at teaching hospitals, see patients too.
If there is, and you decide to get an appointment, tell the Appointment Nurse how serious your situation is and maybe you can get an appointment sooner than if you just needed a routine appointment.

Sam, contact the TX Lyme Support Groups and ask them if they know of a "Lyme-literate" or at least "Lyme-friendly" cardiologist who could help you. Wish I had one to recommend to you.

Thank you all so much for the ideas, prayers, and support. It really all means so much to me. Too weak to reply to everyone individually right now, but hopefully this will pass soon. Trying some new things so hopefully something good will happen. You all have given me some very good ideas here. Thank you all.
