There are SO many recalls from the FDA (almost daily) on items many of us could be using on a regular basis. A lot of it involves "good for you" foods. Some recalls are due to Listeriosis, some to salmonella, etc.

Rather than posting all over the place I will add new recalls here so you can check them. When the post comes up you'll know to check the latest recall.

Having had both of the above mentioned diseases from contaminated food in the past, I really don't want others to go thru it.

Also... We could have lost one of our advocates who was also poisoned with listeriosis in the past. Our systems are not really able to protect us very well.

I will not post the items that could cause possible allergies due to unannounced ingredients. Too many of them. Just the bacterial risks.

First recall here today...

Salmonella Risk- Poppy Lemon Quick Bread

I laugh. We aren't suppose to be eating this stuff- which never stopped me before- and with the cold weather and more people baking and the holiday season upon us- I'm adding it anyhow.

Possible Botulism (and that is some nasty stuff)
