I have been in the mountains for 3 days, on my annual ski trip with family. First day of skiing went great; I felt great, and then hot tubbing was fun.

I woke up the next day and all of my organs hurt. The pains went away as I moved around, and then back on the hill. Skiing went great again, hot tubbing fine again.

After hot tubbing, then dinner, I stood up and my ankle gave out. It was very painful to walk on. I figured it could very well be from skiing, not necessarily Lyme, although I didn't recall straining it.

Today my ankle is swollen, painful to walk on, much less ski on, and I had a very sharp, electric shock type pain start at my elbow and shoot down my arm. Totally typical Lyme pain.

Drat. I had thought I had Lyme & co licked.

Sidelined from skiing but I'm calling it a blessing. Finally have time to watch videos by Dr. M., recommended by Patches.

Wow! Thanks Patches

I'm pretty low energy today but I just wanted to say sorry to hear it.

Though I wouldn't jump to conclusions that the whole thing is raging back. The nervous system is a funny thing. If you haven't used those specific muscles in a while it could just be your nerves adjusting.

Thanks Jordana. You make a good point. I have learned a lesson, though. I have a cross to bear.
My husband, son - they aren't having issues.
