I know everyone talks about this and it's all over the news. its becoming immune to abx due to overdose.
but how do lyme patients take all these abx without becoming immune to them. i can no longer take most abx due to severe reactions.
so am I becoming immune to abx? what do you do when all treatments fail?
guess I'm jus disheartened....what with family problems and all.
galveston was a bust..never again..oh it wasn't the town...lol..it was the company and accommodations.

randibear, people don't become immune to abx; the organism becomes resistant to the abx. So it's not you, it's the Lyme that becomes resistant. Although a lot of people don't think Lyme can become resistant. It would be an unstoppable monster if it could.

I don't get when people say 'lyme or borrelia cannot become resistant to abx'.
Isn't it already resistant, for a loong time?
That is why we need so much mixing, variation, high dosages and still, no warranty of winning?
